• Progress: points, viewing stats — on your device only.
• Location: if you enable geolocation, it is used only to sort beaches by distance; it is not sent to our servers.
• Email: only if you subscribe to alerts, so we can send you the status of your beaches.

Cookies and local storage

The site uses the browser’s local storage (localStorage) to remember your settings and favorites. We do not set advertising cookies. Third-party cookies (maps, weather, analytics) may appear when you use those services.

Technical data and analytics

Hosting and measurement tools (e.g. Google Analytics) may record technical data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) to ensure the operation and security of the site.

Payment data

Payments are handled by our authorized payment provider (Merchant of Record). We never receive or store your full card details.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell or rent your personal data. No personal data is required to use the free service.

Your rights

Retention

Alert-subscription data is kept while the subscription is active and deleted on request. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
